PROPOSALS TABLED [please contact Bob Darling (x2923 or [email protected])]
 New program:
Certificate in American Studies (tabled, 7-0)
1) Please remove ENG 325 and
326 from the list of courses in
part D as the English Department expressed concerns about enrollment in
these courses. This appears to be consistent with Sharon's memo (to
Karla)
on p. 12 of the proposal.
2) the committee would like to see either more justification for the
inclusion of ANT 230, HLH 201, SOC 351, SOC, 355, SOC 365, ECO 335 courses
(it's not clear to us how these meet the spirit of American Studies) or
remove them from the list of electives.
